I read it but skimmed the last few sections (It was a LONG article).

Seems like you boy got dicked over....

However, having worked for a gubmint entitiy (Army) and with a few FBI types while in the Rangers, I can say what happened doesn't really surprise me. The FBI is full of arrogance and disdain for local law enforcement. And it WILL cover up for it's own at the expense of anyone else.
